CALL FOR PARTICIPATION

 

Dear colleagues!

 

The Foreign Languages Department (Humanities Programs) of Novosibirsk State Technical University 

encourages young researchers to take part 

in the XVI International Research-to-Practice Conference:

 

Urgent Problems of Modern Society. 

Language, Culture and Technology in the Changing World.

The conference will be held on November 26-27, 2020.

Condition of participation

High school students, undergraduate, graduate, and postgraduate students and young researchers without a scientific degree, whose reports reflect the results of the study and correspond to the declared areas of the conference, are invited to participate in the conference:

 

1. Language in the dialogue of cultures

2. Information technologies in translation practice

3. West-Russia-East: intercultural dialogue

4. Educational technologies in the digital age

5. Globalization of business and digitalization of the economy

6. Technological progress and society of the future.

 

After the conference the collected works are published and the articles are placed in eLIBRARY.ru with Russian Science Citation Index.

All the reporters will participate in the competition of scientific articles in a foreign language, in which topicality, scientific significance and practical implementation, the structure and the content, literacy, scientific style are assessed.
Additionally the participants can take part in two contests in accordance with their choice (see criteria on the site of the conference after 01.09.2020: http://stfl.conf.nstu.ru/conf2020/):
1 the contest of the video performance with the presentation of the report, in which topicality, scientific significance and practical implementation, the structure and  the content, literacy, scientific style are assessed.
2 the contest of electronic scientific poster reports, in which topicality, scientific significance and practical implementation, the structure and  the content of the report quality and originality of video presentation, literacy, scientific style are assessed.
